we will start with the player that is most impresive and that is who else then serina willams

she is a player that can not play for a whole season but when she com's back is like she never left the tour and she prooved it again at the australian open she came to the grand slam as a huge underdog no one expected her to do anything realy but she played like only serina knows how to play and she won her 8th slam big time defeating some of the best players on tour

jelena jankovic

she started the season blazing hot winning the singles title in Auckland and reaching Sydney final and becoming the first women of her contry to reach the top 10

the next player that is blazing this season so far is israel's best player

shahar peer

she started the season withe a semi final at the gold coast and reaching the QF at sydney and becoming the first israeli women ever to reach a grand slam QF at the australian open she was 2 points away of defeating serina williams and make israeli history

she rose to No.15 in the world a new career-high and equal highest ranking ever for an Israeli woman .

if she continus like this she will be the first israeli ever to be ranked in the top ten it is just a matter of time before that happens.
