Was Hingis a better player in the past???
The is no doubt that Martina Hingis is one of the best tennis players ever
the question is was she a better player in the beginning of her career and now she’s a good top 10 player but not a # 1 player like she used to be or is she the same Hingis like she used to be but the other players on tour are better then they were then?
If you look at Martina’s amazing career you will see that when she played in the beginning she hardly ever lost , she won many titles including five grand slams she was the # 1 player in the world an she broke a lot of new records and then she got injured and retired for 3 and a half years and then she came back .
She started playing well and it looked like she was going to take over the tennis world by a storm and it is just a matter of time but a year past by and she stabled as one of the top 10 players in the world but when it came to games with top 10 players she won only a hand full of them but she mostly lost .
She didn’t make it fast the QF of a grand slam and it seems like she is good enough to be a top 10 player she burly loses to players ranked under the top 20 but she is not good enough for the # 1 spot anymore .
So if this hard hitting players would off played in the beginning of her career would she still been ranked # 1 then or would she have been like today just a good top 10 player?

Kim don’t do it for your fan’s
Hay Kim what’s up
I keep reading and hearing that you are retiring from tennis after Wimbledon I understand that you are Sirius about it
But I wanted to tell you Kim please don’t do it you can’t leave us so early you are still young and we still didn’t have enough off you its not fair for the fan’s
You started something wonderful a tennis career you made a lot of fan’s interested in the game of tennis to watch the game and to love the tennis tour you will leave a lot off fan’s disappointed in your country that you brought a lot of pride to and to your other fan’s all over the world
I know a lot of players will be happy not to see your name as their opponent in the draw but even they will prefer to see your name there then to see you leave you are a port off the game and no tournament will look the same with out you in it
Take a look at stefi Graff she retired after a long career and started a wonderful family you can do the same
Kim we want to see you win more slams slide and run around the court like only you know how to do
So Kim please wait with your retirement give us a few more years of joy

the amazing life of a tennis player
The life of a tennis player
You have to admire the life of a tennis player it’s amazing and maybe the hardest of all professional sports
A lot of times you look an the tennis players prize money and you say to you self wow I wish I was a tennis player look how much money they make
But that is not true it is just an illusion because the truth is that most tennis players in the top 100 need endorsements to survive and just the top players in the world can survive on the money they make on tour
To be a tennis player you need strong guts because a tennis player’s expenses are unbelievable high not to mention that the life is hard like hell with no time to enjoy friends and family not to mention a love partner
An average tennis player in the top 100 plays 20 tournaments a year
That means they need to travel to 20 deferent places a year and pay for most of the hotels for them and usually for their coach that travels with them
then they have the training to pay for and all the rest of the expenses they burly if at all can survive from the prize money the win in tour and that is for the top 100 players in the world
the players that are ranked under the top 100 make much less money and straggle even more I don’t know hoe they even make it
here is a story about a tennis player quoted from an interview in 1998
“
Annie Miller, a player from Michigan, is preparing to drop out of tennis. At only 21 and with a world rank of 45, her third-round match against Monica Seles, which she lost 6-3, 6-3 on Saturday, could be her last. On Tuesday, unless she loses her nerve, she will begin at the University of Michigan, studying Spanish, statistics and geography.

Part of the reason for her decision to take a break from the tour is financial: without sponsorship contracts and with a coach and travel expenses to pay, she says that, even with a ranking of 45, it is difficult to make a fine living after paying the coach $1,000 to $1,500 per week and paying the coach's and your own travel expenses.

"Our prize money is probably half what the guys is, and I think any player at my level will tell you, they aren't able to live and spend right and left," Miller said. "They have to watch their money at this ranking unless they have endorsement contracts or sponsors. But the difficult thing for me is I'm not from Costa Rica or some country that doesn't have any other star players. I'm from the U.S. I'm just average for my country."

And with rising players like the Williams sisters and Anna Kournikova earning big money to represent sporting-goods companies, there is much less for those lower in the pecking order. "I definitely wouldn't say they don't deserve that," Miller said. "Because they are also bringing more prize money and visibility to our tour."

But Miller's decision to take a sabbatical is not just about finances; it is also about the search for a more nurturing, normal environment.

"The greatest thing in the world is that Carlos Moya and Alex Corretja went out to dinner before the French Open final," she said. "The guys, and maybe guys in general, really seem to be able to separate the on-court and off-court stuff.

"A lot of the girls are friends with each other and have friends but the way I feel, and maybe I just take everything too personally, is that there is somehow not enough total separation."

And so Miller, tired of being negative and tired of questioning her priorities on a daily basis, will separate tennis from her life altogether for a time. She will no longer be Annie Miller, tennis player. She will be Annie Miller, undergraduate.

"I was always raised — and education was an important thing in my family — that I wasn't for sure going to turn pro like girls like Venus and Anna," she said. "They were groomed from childhood to know that this is what they want to do. This is their ticket to a wonderful life, and they've really done that. But I was lucky or not to come from a family where tennis wasn't going to be my only way."

The amazing Williams sisters
The amazing Williams sisters
I don’t know what the Williams sisters have in the blood ( I don’t mean any drugs I mean in the genes) but they are amazing
The Williams sisters haven’t played for a wile and they always come back like they never left the curt
First of all lets take a look at Serena that I think she is not human she hasn’t played almost at all in 2006 she comes back in 2007 plays one tournament and that is enough for her to come to a grand slam and win it like she never left court before
This is not the first time she’s done it in 2005 she did the same thing she burly played in 2004 and she came in to the Australian open as an underdog but Serena like Serena won the slam that is why when she plays in a tournament you never know what will happen no matter how rusty she is coming into the tournament
And then the is Venus she hasn’t played in 4 months but she comes in to the tournament this week wins her first two games like she never left playing and who knows how far she will go in her first tournament in a wile
So all I have to say is wow wow wow this is some family and good luck to the amazing sisters

Federer the grates of all???
Well today federer made history by equaling Connors record of 160 weeks straight ranked 1’st in the world
So is he the grates tennis player ever or is the better then him in the history of tennis??
The were a good few players that can compete with this title
The first one I think is rod lavor the only player to win 2 slams in 1 calendar year the pressure of winning a slam is huge and that defiantly makes him a contestant for the grates ever
Another player to compete for this title is Pete Sampras
He owns 14 grand slams to his name and a record of five years year end number 1 he is a very tough contestant for this title
And the is more players like the legend Andre Agassi that can compete not only for the all time grate but the all time most beloved player other players are Connors, Borg
So who is the grates of all times I think it’s going to be federer
I think he is going to brake all this records
1) most consecutive weeks ranked # 1
2) most years ending # 1
3) most grand slams
4)most slams in a calendar year
5) Best record in a year
And all other records except the record on clay that will belong to another grate player Rafael Nadal the greatest clay player ever

shahar peer a true country hero
the state of Israel doesn’t have allot of good things happen specially in sport , that's why when the is a sport success in the country the whole country is behind the success
SHAHAR PEER is one of this success in sport in that country
I’ve been following her since she was in the juniors and I noticed that the is something unique about her she wants to do well she is a hard worker and a fighter and in the state of Israel that is very unique
This week in the WTA it will be the first time for her coming in to a tournament seeded number 1
And it isn’t a coincidence every year in her short carrier she rose in the ranking and broke new records for herself and her country in 2004 in her first year on tour she finished 183 in the world a year latter she rose all the way to number 45 in the world and 2006 she finished at number 20 the first Israeli woman since Ana smasnova to do that and the first Israeli born to do that in the women
2007 she started in a storm reaching the semis in the gold coast and the quarters in Sydney and the cherry on top of it is reaching the quarters in the Australian open her first grand slam QF and the first Israeli woman ever to achieve this after 2 forth rounds last year at the French open and the Us open she went one step further and reached a quarter final .
Since the beginning of the year she rose to number 15 in the world and equaled the best high ranked Israeli ever
If she will continue the way she started the year she will finish in the top 10 this year and if she will improve her serve and her experience not to get cold feet and win the points when it’s important she can go even as top 5 she has one of the best if not the best retunes in woman’s tennis and with her fight spirit the is no reason she won’t be in the top 5
So to you SHAHAR PEER take a note of fans view and do it for your country they need a reason to smile
